Travel has been a constant theme in my life and I have travelled many miles for both work and pleasure. Taking stock I would like to share some of my experiences and if you are interested please read on. My first attempts are based around three themes, one involves my passion for football, the second my time living in Argentina and the third a mix of the two.

Fields of Dreams
My Dad took me to my first football match on the opening day of the 1971/2 season and I set myself the challenge of visiting all of the 92 league grounds. I thought it would be easy but it took until Easter 2010 with a visit to Hartlepool to complete it. Share the highs, lows and miles.
1978 World Cup
I remember this as my first world cup on telly, especially staying up to watch the infamous game when Argentina beat Peru 6-0. Little did I suspect that years later I would be living in Buenos Aires and visiting the grounds. A look at the recollections, my memorabilia and the background in the country.
Living in Argentina
Three years of living in Buenos Aires and travelling across the continent has given me a great insight into a unique blend of Latin and European cultures. Some personal reflections on what it’s really like in a country of real extremes, some great people and a host of challenges.
